What this site is
DALI ROOM Auction Watch is a free, community-curated watchlist of publicly discovered Salvador Dalí auction listings and reported sale results. Records are collected from public sources, checked by hand against the original auction-house page where possible, and published with a source link and a verification date.
What this site is not
- It is not a complete or authoritative global auction database. Coverage is partial by design.
- It is not an appraisal, valuation, or price-index service.
- It is not an authentication or attribution service. We express no opinion on whether any work is genuine.
- It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Gala–Salvador Dalí Foundation, VEGAP, any artist estate, or any auction house.
- It does not sell, broker, or arrange the sale of any artwork.
How to read a price on this site
Auction figures mean different things and are never blended here:
- Estimate — the auction house's own pre-sale range. It excludes buyer's premium, taxes and shipping.
- Hammer price — the winning bid only.
- Price including buyer's premium — the hammer price plus the auction house's commission.
- Price basis not stated — the source did not say which of the above it published.
Currencies are shown as reported. No conversion is applied. Prints, works on paper, sculpture and original paintings are distinct markets and should not be compared with each other.
Accuracy and corrections
Records may be incomplete, delayed, superseded or wrong. Auction houses correct, withdraw and re-report results. Always confirm details with the auction house before bidding, selling, insuring, or making any collecting decision. If you spot an error, please submit a correction.
Community submissions
By submitting a link you confirm it is publicly accessible and that you are not sending confidential material. Submissions enter a private review queue and may be edited, rejected or ignored. Please do not send images, scans, or copied catalogue text.
Images and copyright
Auction-house photography and catalogue descriptions are generally copyright-protected, and reproductions of Salvador Dalí's works carry separate rights administered by the artist's estate and its representatives. This site is therefore text-first: images are shown only where we hold a documented permission or the material is clearly outside copyright. If you believe material here infringes your rights, email auctions@daliroom.com with the URL and details, and we will review and remove it promptly where appropriate.

- Do not use automated tools to bulk-download or republish this database.
- Do not present records from this site as verified valuations or authentication.
- Do not misrepresent this site as official or affiliated with any institution.
